Using Methods
Use the heavy head to align the positioning point, hold the handle firmly and press firmly in the direction of the punch. After the punch is pressed back into the rod for a short period of time, the powerful spring will force the punch to eject, creating a dent in each,No need to use a hammer and other tools, easy to use.
Position the tip, mark the point and align the tip of the drill with the marked area.
The comfortable ball head holds the center punch when in use, making the punching easier and more precise.

I like these punches. They work well but be careful of the tips they are hard and brittle. The one problem is the tip does get loose. I have used red thread locker the help. Otherwise a heavy well made tool.

Very good centre punch. Nice grip/hand protection? Strong punch use it everyday on metals. Highly recommended. Over 3 years of everyday use now on stainless steel and all sorts of metals. Excellent. Way way better that the starett it replaced.
I've seen many mixed reviews for this item. I wanted a center punch to keep handy in my glove box in case of emergency...and chose this one. Appears to be quite sturdy and at the price, it's a great value. It might not survive hard and constant use, but that was not my intended purpose. I like it!
