Design and materials are nice, not cheap. The shape and layout in particular suited my application, and it has performed flawlessly so far. Definitely improved my desk space and organized many devices.

Great for use with laptop when on the go.
I purchased first one for my laptop and subsequently purchased a second for desktop (so I wouldn't need to grope under and behind desk to access ports) in home office. I needed and am satisfied for use with multiple external drives and with Logitech devices (including those requiring unifying and non-unifying repeaters), etc.
This is the only USB hub that will work reliably with my ASUS ROG STRIX Z-390E Gaming motherboard. Works well, I have 2 of them. Powered, and if you want to you can use 1 of the ports as a fast charging port.
I use it for my new Mac Mini that only has 2 older USB ports. Everything seems to work but I have not tested for high volume data transferring that other people may need it for. Printer, bluetooth keyboard dongle, and 2 chargers are all I use it for and it seems functional. Happy with my purchase

I bought this USB hub for my brother who needed a powered hub for his external hard drives. It works great right out of the box. Easily handles the hard drive and other accessories. Seems to work well for my needs.
I currently use this device to run 2 micro MIDI controllers, 1 MIDI Keyboard controller, a wired mouse, an iOS charging cable, and a raspberry Pi3. So far so good, and I've had it for quite a while. I have the smaller version on another system and it too has given me zero issues.
