Recently started a part time job working on concrete floors. At the end of my shift I noticed that I would be experiencing hip pain. I managed to make 16,000-20,000 steps in a 2-3 hour period so I assumed it was just because of the intensity. It took 5 days for my hip to feel better and a friend suggested I buy an orthotic because I have flat feet. I purchased this insert and it came the next day. I put it in my shoes and my next shift I did not have any hip pain st all!
I don't normally write reviews but these orthotics are a god send. I have pretty severe plantar fasciitis and the first 10 steps in the morning, or after resting had been excruciating for a long time. I Googled "good feet store" to try to fix my problem and came across a reference to these inserts. I figured what the hell and ordered a couple of pairs. I only wore them for a few hours yesterday, and when I got up in the middle of the night to answer natures call, instead of wincing in pain, I was able to walk nearly pain free!.. I've worn them all day today so I'm curious how I'll fare tonight. These are worth the money for sure. They are very comfortable and fit my shoe perfectly.
Background: I am a runner and general sports enthusiast. I started getting painful inflammation in the tarsals and metatarsals of my right foot so I went to the podiatrist. I was recommended orthotics for my extremely flat feet to prevent foot inflammation. He specifically stated that my feet would not benefit from non-prescription insoles since the structure of my feet was so flat. I hesitated purchasing the orthotics due to the high price and figured buying insoles, even if they didn't work, would be a good option to try in order to save hundreds of dollars. Boy am I glad I did this! I wear these while running, playing tennis, and even at work (office job). I just switch out this single pair for all of these activities. They have been great so far.
I have flat feet. I pronates and every shoe without arch support KILLS my ankles. These are the best insoles I’ve found. The kicker is, I’ve been in the Footwear business and fitting customers for many many many years. These are perfect.
Love these! I put these in a pair of boots that are a size up and instead of removing the original sole just placed them on top. I've been having so much foot pain. Apprently due to an small extra bone in the arch of my very flat left foot. My doctor has advised to fully correct the issue I will need surgery. These have been life saving since I don't want the surgery just yet. I've been walking on them for about a month now and they make my boots so much more supportive and comfortable. Buy these, you'll be glad you did.
Purchase 2 pairs for my son who had been using a running shoe insert that cost $70. These are just as good for a fraction of the price.
These are great. I literally couldn't walk without them without major foot pain. Recommended.
I'd tried a couple of other high-rated shoe inserts, but the arch supports on both of them were too far to the rear (toward the heel). These Orthotics provides great arch support and relief for a bone spur on one heel. Very satisfied; hoping they last!
I use to get the worst shin splints on multiple pairs of hoop shoes. After I let them heal and I put these in my shoes and had long basketball sessions, my shins all of a sudden would not hurt anymore. I never write reviews but if you have shin splints and have high arches, these are the best insoles you will find for athletic purposes (I’ve tried at least 10 different ones) and it will help get rid of that recurring pain. You have to give them a shot!
I have an old injured ankle which makes my foot rotate onto the flat side basically destroying my posture literally from the sole up. I threw these things in my shoes and could immediately feel a slightly uncomfortable pressure on the side of my foot behind where I thought my arch was. After allowing myself to walk in them and get adjust I found my connection and stability to the floor much better and more upright and stable. I have also noticed over time wearing them now that they seem to have some kind of memory foam like quality to them. I can feel toe imprints when i reach my hand up inside my shoe. I wouldn't say it's a miraculous cure to having a bum ankle but it definitely has helped.
I work as a gardener and wear hiking boots to work the insoles I had in before went cutting it. You have have great shoes but insoles really make a difference especially these. Before these my feet were killing me and after it was like I had new legs. Highly recommended and am actually buying my second pair.
Excellent insoles! These really help me. I'm on my feet for 12 hours. I work in the medical field. These are great for someone with high arches. Recommend!
I was experiencing heel pain but after using these insoles the pain was gone! I wanted to see if the heel pain would return if I removed the insoles and it did. The cost is so low compared to orthotic supports that you get from the doctor and it has really helped relieve my heel pain. The only drawback is that the insoles were a bit smaller than the manufacturers insole. I will be purchasing more for my other pairs of shoes.
I have extremely high arches and got these to replace the factory installed insoles from my Merrill hiking boots. I have gone on 10-20 mile day hikes with these and they kept my arches from cramping up without any discomfort. I actually could have used just a tad more support, but only because I have extra high arches. I am so glad I didn't spend $60 on insoles! What a great value!
Although these have a hard plastic arch, they are very comfortable. Go figure that one. The orthotics the podiatrist had me buy from him cost $45 each. As they were only a 3/4 length, they were not as comfortable as these. After trying one of these, I bought more for my other shoes---(Brooks athletic shoes for overpronators.) These just feel "right". No more overpronation.
My first pair provided so much pain relief for my high arches with my workout shoes, that I’ve been able to move my three mile daily walk to a jog without arch pain. Just purchased a second pair for my work boots and will purchase a third pair to use in my daily puttsing around shoes. Wish I’d of discovered these a few years ago. Would have saved a ton of discomfort and pain.
I’ve been trying to get back into running after a few years, and pounds, but I’ve always had such an issue with shin splints. I couldn’t run more than a couple minutes without having to stop because my shins hurt so badly. It was like night and day with these inserts. I’ve tried the ones from dr scholls, but they didn’t help much. I went out on the trail for the first time with the new ones today, and I had zero pain in my shins. The arch support is amazing.
I have used and bought MANY MANY MANY inserts over my 38 year nursing career and including prescription inserts these are hands down the best I have ever used. I have a very thin, flat foot and needed a good arch support and these have helped fill the bill and have helped me so much standing in the OR cold concrete floor all day. They are thick so anyone with a wider or thicker foot may have trouble with them causing the shoe to be too tight... I added them to my new Skecher max foam and they are the perfect combo
