Renters broke another china made patio chair. Attachment that stretches seat fabric broke, because china-weld uses very little weld. Why not use a little more weld to make better china-weld??? I had to drive screws into metal right by the spot where weld broke (on bothe sides of it) for reinforcement. Then I used 3 layers of JB (took 72 hours to apply). The stuff is liquidy so you just can't apply in 1 go. The chair holds up so far. It will keep on working until some 300lb dumbo drops his drunk derrière onto the chair again :) By basic physics if a butt is flying down it is like twice the weight upon touchdown. So 600lb JB probably won't hold even with support screws. I'll write an update (I Promise!) if and when the repair fails. And why did I use those screws- to have the fabric stretched yet the broken metal piece placed in the exact spot where it was held in place but china-weld. Good repair- and you can't even see it as it is covered by the chair's fabric.

As a Mechanical Engineer I had occasion to use or test virtually every adhesive known to man. Each type has a pretty well defined set of uses. There is a seemingly endless variety of epoxies, but, out of all of them, I have not found one that can match the performance of AB. I am awed each time I use it. It will bond nearly anything with a strength unequaled by others. However, there is one feature that may be a deterrent for some jobs. It is black. The iron powder in its compound provides its bond strength but its color, and may not look so good where aesthetics are important.

This will really fix your stuff - stuff that superglue can't fix. I've used it around the screw holes on a poor quality replacement OEM dryer handle where they were structuraly weak. I plastered this around each screw hole 'post' and so far no failure after 6 months (whereas another replacement handle cracked after 1 week). I've also used it on a dishwasher soap dispenser where I read online reviews about the closure tab snapping off after a while. So I've reinforced the tab with AB.

This stuff isn't a miracle and I wouldn't use it to "weld" my engine block. But I think it's just about the best epoxy ever. It's been my go-to epoxy for years - for when I need a really strong bond. It's inexpensive and it's given "added longevity" to many household/garage items that I own. I try to make it a point of always keeping some of this stuff around.

I installed an mlok configuration foregrip/stop on a carbine, because I wasn't into paying for and having to deal with a chunky, blocky cage for practically half the price of the firearm. Removed the handguard, chiseled out a slot for the piece, sunk pilot holes, bolts and internal washers/nuts, placed a light coat in and on the underside of the hollow guard over the work I had completed. Came back a day later, hit it with a heavier coat to increase weight for stability, ground down the exterior with a file and sanding block, to the point of ergonomic ideal. This is the stuff you want to use, if your project item does not exceed the heat limitations of the product. You also basically have an unlimited number of attempts if you do not like the effect, as it's as easy as chiseling/sanding off, and it's of better durability than any polymer stock once it sets up. Great stuff, hands down.

STRONG. It its quit strong and also seals out moisture quite well. Wood broke before glue. Quite pleased with product.

Exhaust still holding and 6 months ago, I used AB weld to cover a large (about 12 inch) tear in the flexible door bellows of my front load washer. It is securing a length of old inner tube over the tear and no leaks. Great stuff

I've been using AB for years, it's the best two-part adhesive out there. It fills and smooths irregular surfaces and joins broken parts like nothing else I've tried. Not brittle like epoxy. Cures non-sticky and machinable. It does take longer to cure, but if you have time it's worth the wait. Un-cured it sags if applied too thick. My most challenging repair was the door handles of my 1969 Alfa Romeo door handles. Most older cars have parts made from chromed pot-metal. This is a brittle metal that can break in use, it doesn't bend and cannot be welded. A portion of my door handle inside the door broke and I couldn't get a replacement. I used AB and had no further trouble.

I had a home chore to fix a relatively inexpensive dressmaker's dummy for my wife. The metal welds securing a slip ring (connecting stand with body) broke free, and thus the dummy looked like a drunken sailor (to be accurate, I've never actually SEEN a drunken sailor -- I was US Army myself -- , and my apologies to my forebears who were faithful swabbies in the US Navy!). I saw this product online -- the "AB" part of its name attracted my attention -- and I followed the directions. Very easy, applied with a popsicle stick, it cured in 6 hours and was solid as a real metal weld after 24 hours. Mind you, this is not part-to-part glueing, but rather vertical-to-horizontal welding -- a true test. The dummy is now back to full dumminess, and my wife is happy.

I’ve used jb weld on countless other projects and every time it never disappoints. I had this 70 year old round folding table that I refinished for my grandmothers birthday. I took it all apart so I could sand it down easier and when I took off the legs the middle portion of the table snapped in half completely, I put multiple inch long dabs of jb weld in between the 2 pieces and clamped them together as seen in the picture, after I let it dry and everything was sanded I decided since most of the screws were either broken or missing that I would jb weld the legs to the middle portion. Not only did the middle portion break but each of the 4 feet broke into pieces aswell and the old adhesive didn’t hold them in the wooden dowels. I jb welded them together and back onto the dowels. I was so confident in jb weld that I jumped on the table with all my force and it didn’t budge at all just to show my father that it works wonders. Best adhesive money could buy and it works on virtually anything you need

With AB, we were able to repair the frame-- the bond feels very secure. We put the various other pieces back together too (and bent a few back into shape), and now we have a truly lab-grade piece of equipment for our home experiments!

Heard a lot about this product. My Mazda suffered the dash separation problem that has been endemic in hot climates. They even sidestepped recalling this model, but did recall other vehicles. Anyway JB weld to the rescue. Has a high heat rating. Mixed the two tubes 1:1, applied with wooden stick. Put about 100 lbs weight on the dash. No more separation or gap. Curious how long it will hold. Came out great. No more gap adhesive seems to be holding. Make sure you follow directions to include clamp and cure time.

Excellent. I used this to fix my 2016 Honda Odyssey keys by following a video somebody posted on YouTube. It worked well, but I did need my dremel tool to get the parts to fit back together perfectly. I can use my keys again and didn't need to get them recut! This stuff saved me and I have some left over for another project. Glad I wrote this review or I would not have thought of this! I know exactly where to use up the rest. Excellent product. Just make sure you squeeze enough out to get a good 50/50 mix or it won't set quite as fast or as you were hoping. I was careful and probably had a puddle, after mixing, only the size of a quarter or a bit larger. Worked great!

This product was perfect for my application. I had to attach a metal picture frame wire to the back of a ceramic tile in order to hang the tile on a wall. I used the AB according to the package directions and it worked very well. Since this product is warranted at a tensile strength of 3960 psi and my tile weighs 8 oz, I think it may have been a bit of overkill. (I estimate that each side of the wire was covered by about 0.5 square inches of the mixture to a depth of about 1/8".) This epoxy is the recommended bonding product for metal to ceramic. I created a small 1/4" diameter loop on each end of the wire to increase the bonding area. It is important to clean the two surfaces with acetone or alcohol to remove all grease. The metal needs to be abraded with a file to create a rough surface. The ceramic was unglazed on the back and therefore was already rough and porous. The two components of the product must be mixed very thoroughly and in 1:1 proportion by volume. It takes 24 hours to get a complete bond.

I've been using this for years in my garage for a multitude of tasks. I had the radiator in my Jeep spring a leak and start to crack. Until I could get a new radiator I patched the area with AB and 2.5 years later I finally installed the new one. It was still holding. It sprung a leak at the drain plug. I always have a package available for repairs and emergencies.

I had a crack in one of the flat parts of the garage door which made the entire door sag when opening and caused the opener to think something was blocking the door when closing. I wasn't sure if epoxy would even be strong enough to bond the piece together but also withstand the daily stress of opening and closing the door. It was my first step in trying out other methods so I went for it. Well to make a very long story short, it worked great. The bonded part is sadly stronger than the metal that it had bonded (cheap garage door) and now my garage door opens and closes like before.

While AB offers a veritable Vegas buffet of bonding products, this steel-reinforced epoxy is the industry's most powerful, versatile, and elite-performing, and is presented here in a uniquely high volume "professional size" that maximizes its great value.

AB, I have used for years. These tubes are huge. I undertook several projects using large quantities of glue and the stuff just keeps on coming out of the tube. I think this stuff would almost glue a broken heart.

Saved $60 on a stove oven door handle. I've used this stuff for years. The plastic part where the screws attach to the handle had completely broke off the handle. They had the threaded brass in the center of the plastic. I roughed up the surfaces and used some electrical tape to hold the pieces in place. I mixed the AB and applied it pretty thick. Pretty sure it will last longer than the original.

I even used this to cover the damaged threads of a vintage drill press spindle and then formed the end into a taper with a file. This taper now retains a JT33 chuck that has never failed and has a runout of less than a 64th of an inch. I love this epoxy.

I use AB everywhere normal people use almost anything else. It's holding car bumpers, fixed a trampoline, filled holes in my truck bed and smoothed a gouged shaft ( no oil leak now). AB works in moisture, also under water. I even attached an exhaust gas temperature sensor bung (the round fitting it screws into) directly to the pipe just ahead of the converter. I intended to weld it but it's on solid and going strong. Way hotter than the label says it can take, plus vibration. Amazing. Love it but wish it came in even bigger tubes.
